My wife, Janet Lefley, has a website of her artwork at http://www.janetlefley.com. At that site, you can peruse a gallery of her sketches, etchings, and other prints.
During the summer of 2017, a robin built a nest over our front door. On July 7, 2017, four chicks emerged and the robin became very busy feeding her chicks! A week later they were learning to fly and then all left two days later.
On June 13, 2011, Thousand Waves kicked off Spirit Challenge 2011 with the Karate Boot Camp. Here are some photos!
A few days later, on June 16, 2011, the Tameshiwari - Beginner/Intermediate Breaking Workshop, at which I made a few more photos of the karateka in action.
On January 16, 2010, we celebrated my dad's 70th birthday at Quartino in Chicago, Il. I took a few photographs of the festivities.
On November 30, 2009, Janet and I went to L2O with our good friends Tabitha and Bala. In addition to enjoying the absolutely exquisite meal, I enjoyed making a small album of some parts of the meal.
On May 24, 30, and 31 of 2009, Thousand Waves held the Spirit Challenge fundraiser. I shot a bunch of photos of the events, and will make them available here for participants and other interested persons. For now, I have a small album of my favorite images for you to see. I'm going to be expanding this favorites album as I continue looking through the photos.
Janet and I visted North Carolina in April of 2009 to visit our friends Karen, Carl, Debbie, and Allan. I have an album of some of the highlights of our visit.
On October 25, 2008, Thousand Waves held a promotion test for students striving to advance to the rank of Shodan. I took a lot of pictures of this event. I have an album of my favorites, as well as an album of a lot of the action during the test.
November 3, 2007, was the Thousand Waves Apple Breaking Seminar. I have PICTURES of this historic event.
On 23 July, 2005, Eva Redei and my father got married. You can see the album from their wedding here.
